State Deputy Wayne Bieniasz has announced on 9/2/05, that the Nevada State Council is establishing a Relief Fund by Brother Knights and their Families for Brother Knights and their Families whom are Victims of Hurricane Katrina.

The Relief Fund will be generated from Brother Knights, their Families, councils and assemblies in Nevada. Then distributed by the Nevada State Council as a corporate body.

How To Contribute

Councils, and Assembles should make their checks payable to:
Knights of Columbus Charities USA, Inc.
(indicate Hurricane KATRINA Relief) and send them to:

Paul Dendary, State Secretary
Nevada State Council
2419 Balgavies Court
Henderson, NV 89044-8764

Our Worthy State Secretary will issue a receipt for each donation. The donations will be forwarded to Knights of Columbus Charities.

In this way, our State Council and Supreme Council will better understand the level of donations from the Councils and Assemblies in our Nevada jurisdiction.

Individual Donors are invited to follow this same procedure. Receipts will be issued by the State Council for any donation forwarded to them.

We also encourage each of our Knights to contribute generously to the efforts being initiated by your individual Parishes.

Our thoughts and prayers are with these Victims of Hurricane Katrina.

FEMA Expedited Payments
